Everything was so good, it’s hard to pick one to talk about. I’ve had a lot of sashimi and cured fish, in and out of Japan, and trust me you’ll wanna taste the cured king fish from here. The oysters were very lovely. Meat was tender and very filling for mains. Desert was an experience in itself, sticky, sweet, burnt, tangy and fresh all in the one mouthful. We left very satisfied. Staff were amazing and atmosphere was great. Highly recommend!

What a lovely spot for breakfast/brunch! Such amazing service - loved our server, she was a vibe 🙌 The eggs benedict over potato cheese rosti was one of the best we had on our entire trip and set the tone for the day. Big fan of the eats coming out of the kitchen. They also do juices really well! Great spot.

Went here for breakfast with my elderly Mum as it was just around the corner from our accommodation at Gibsons Mill apartments. This is a great find! Fabulous food served quickly and fresh, wonderful coffee and super friendly service. Best of all, no surcharge when we paid via credit card!!
Stumbled upon the Stock Market Restaurant on a recent long weekend in Hobart. Excellent coffee, best I had the whole weekend. Amazing breakfast burgers and pancakes as well. Service was great, chef was a brilliant one-man show, smashing out breakfast for 13 of us easily. Highly recommend!! Didn’t get a chance to see it in evening cocktail mode but certain that would be excellent as well.
Nice place for brunch with attentive service. We had the creamy mushroom pasta and the aussie parma (without bacon) - both very flavourful and good serving size. Also had an oat matcha one morning, it was the only cafe open at 7am on a Saturday! Wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the matcha. Not too sweet and defs tasted like proper matcha and not those packet/instant ones some cafes use. A great find in Hobart.
Lovely place to dine in when you’re in Hobart. The food and location met my expectations. We had the Stockland Breakfast, Coconut Curry Prawn, and Scrambled Eggs — all were delicious. Portions were big and feel so full, but I found it a bit pricey.
We had an incredible brunch at the Stock Market this morning. We got the Fried chicken benedict and the Mexican spiced eggs and they were both top notch. Perfectly seasoned, beautifully balanced and amazing flavour, we couldn’t pick a favourite. Staff were super friendly too- would be back and recommend!
Having recently moved to Hobart, I was on the hunt for a good coffee shop, and Stock Market Restaurant quickly became my favourite. The coffee is honestly some of the best I've had, not just in Hobart but anywhere in Australia. Their takeaway window is always busy, and it's common to see groups of people waiting for their coffee. After my first few coffees, I decided to try breakfast and was not disappointed. The food was fresh, generous, and full of flavour. On my second visit, I tried their ciabatta with pumpkin and other fillings for only $10, which was incredible value for money. On my third visit, my friend and I ordered the coconut prawn curry, scrambled eggs, and Eggs Benedict. Every dish was excellent, but the Eggs Benedict really stood out and I would honestly rank it among the top and favourite Great coffee, great food, friendly service, and a fantastic atmosphere. Stock Market Restaurant is now one of my go to places in Hobart and a spot I would highly recommend to both locals and visitors.
